One year!!

So yesterday was our one year and up until yesterday evening you had been really miserable and needy and unmanageable. but then you arrived on time and looked at me with new realization of what your feelings were doing to me. we went to the restaurant like we did five months ago we remembered the scary elevator we sat next to the window and stared at the city below and it was wonderful. we shared mushroom caps with cheese and seafood. you drank your favourite martinis while i sipped peach champagne. you had bison while I had the lobster tortelloni like last time. and just as we were prepared to order the same desert, the waitress gave us that slice of mango strawberry cheese cake with a single candle in it. "happy one year" she said, "make a wish" and we wished that we could both be individually happy and bring that happiness to our relationship and celebrate it as love. and we ended the night watching Alice in Wonderland. it was really great :)
